To be honest I would just be happy being shotgun on a few laps of the ring, because I'm a crap driver.
Me too,I've managed a 10m30s ish in the Cosworth which isn't exactly

"flying".

Still got humiliated by humdrum hatches driven by better or

more experienced drivers.

My first ring lap in 2006 was in a ropey RS1600i.

The single lap I did was more enjoyable than the overweight Cos.

Should've done more laps in that old relic.

Pork belly in the fridge.

Not sure what I'm doing with it yet.

In other news, I'm going for a flight on the little sea plane (Cessna 208) that operates off Loch Lomond a week on Friday. Should be fun.
I fancy a bit of that, but I'd want to do it from the middle of Glasgow; it's got to be the best way of arriving or departing other than the Waverley.

Don't forget, TT drinks this evening in the Toby next to the Cardiff Airport Travelodge.

There's posh.

TT; a synonym for Jet Set.

Morning all. Back on the dark side of the Tamar, wind and wet stuff the order of the day, as usual.

Definitely time for a panad.

Tough as old boots, AO, thanks. After spending 36 hours on the kitchen floor having fallen and broken her hip you could understand her going into a decline, as many old ladies do in those sort of circumstances. Instead, she is recuperating in the retiremnt home two hundred yards from her house, itching to go home and bellyaching about the food. She is scheduled to go home in ten days or so and I honestly believe she will recover completely.

Not busy this morning and surreptitiously reading the paper on line.

Cow bile and garlic is the way forward, apparently.
