Made good time back home, despite a closure on the M4 trying to throw me off.

Excellent evening with Dicky as usual, many thanks for the dinner!

Now, do I go up and see Chunks later in the week? scratchchin
You could call me every now and then.

You did that thing and now you never write, never phone, complain you have no local friends...

I'm just down the road with a laminated photo of your stump and you 'claim' you think it's weird.

Well, fk you. Ingrate.

I'm still sore and the cream doesn't help.

I lost my job today due to lack of work, four of us. Now I'm stuffing my face with hot dog pizza while feeling sorry for myself.

Hot dog pizza sounds like it belongs on the filthy takeaway thread.

It only took us four hours to sort out the world's ills and correct our Dream Cars lists.

I'm on watch; I don't get to go to bed until after 8, at which point the Chief takes over and grumbles his way through the entirely fictional contents of the Planned Maintenance System. It's a hell of a way to run a railroad DC.

Ah, yes, in 35 metres of water. We could install pontoons at regular intervals. Would that do it?

It's a wonder the permanent way lads didn't alert us to this problem earlier.

Skiing into work today, Ad?

A lad I knew came home to Rayliegh in Essex from Norway for a spell and while he was home it snowed heavily so he he skied into Southend. When he was in town it thawed and he had to go home on the bus carrying his skis and looking and feeling like a right plonker.

Morning. I feel like brining back the slightly random song lyrics that please and annoy in equal measure.

"You ain't a beauty, but hey, you're alright."

Carry on.

Not me, but missus A drove up to the ring this morning as she is working at the DN11 trackday and she took this picture as she got there. Quite a few disappointed Brits up there at the moment, about 200 of them. Poor sods.

I get you. You send Missus A out and spend the morning with Missus B. Uh, huh.

Any more Missuses we should know about? Missus C? Missus D?
