On Election topic....Who here doesn't know the name of their MP ?

I don't,I think he's Conservative.

Perhaps I should take more interest in it all.

I know mine; Richard Benyon, Conservative.

bowtie

I know this principally because he got a load of stick for being photographed in front of the landmark BEYNON building in Newbury Market Place and having the letters photoswapped to read Benyon.

Other than that I am fully up to speed politically. Or possibly not.

I know mine and our local Tory councillor, as he literally lives across the road, the blue Xmas light festooned c**t.

Our States parliament only meets 24 days a year. The other day, they all buggered off from the House as it was a nice, sunny day. There wasn't anyone there to vote.

I saw one out fishing and another dining out at the Pub.

S124 was collected by its new owner today frown

Left my name and number on the paperwork folder and asked him to ring me if he ever wants to sell it.

I know mine too, Vince Cable who's a Lib Dem. I'll probably be voting for him, Labour is a waste of a vote around these parts and I don't want to give a Tory a seat. That said, the Tory candidate is pretty decent here.

That's the thing about voting, do you pick the best one or the least bad?

In our voting system, you get to pick a Number One, then a second, followed by your third best. A No.1 gets 3 points....and so on. Seems to work for us in each Parish.

Some want to bring in Island wide voting and they all live in Town, us out in the country like a bit of power kept away from the City boys.

Ready with the TKP.

Might sleep with the little window open tonight.

Not often that happens in April.

I saw it, iva, and decided discretion was the better part of valour.

It's almost physically painful to see that picture.
