I've fallen in to a Thursday night is your lads night / my girls night thing. It's a bit fking gay. But me and my 'girlfriend' went for a hoon tonight with hilarious consequences. Chatted up in country pubs by firstly a man who rods drains for a living (he once rodded Jamie Oliver's apparently)...I think making the euphemism joke was a mistake because he's given me his number. And on to another country pub with a load of petrolheads where we watched the ISS passing together in the car park. Never a dull moment.

I've got to go home now.

The ISS was in a pub carpark? I realise it gets boring up there, but really...

Morning all.

I think someone has left something dead in one of their lockers at work. Not quite worked out which locker yet, all I know is that it isn't mine!

Went to fill up yesterday. Last month it was £0.997 a litre, now up to £1.039. Bloody 'ell, that's almost £15 a month on the bike. frown

It's a bit late in the day for coffee, but such an amazing mug needs to be christened properly.

It arrived in one piece. Cheers Mr.C!

I nearly forgot to take a photo.
Evo - Did the delivery operative mention if he was driving on to Adenauer at all?

I think if you have a look in the other place, he has already been making an "unconventional" use of his.

Blast it. Too late as usual.

Adamug - marvellous.

The different Christenings, initiations and inauguration ceremonies are causing great interest among the chattering classes.

I expect.

Ah, I can't get to the other place during the week. Let's face it, I need a new phone.

Daughter is off up to that there London today. She's got an interview for a placement with the admin offices of a charity based in Westminster. Whether or not she's successful is neither here nor there really, but when did she become so grown-up and responsible, as well as a wannabe Londoner?

Afternoon. I have relatively few plans for the weekend, but an awfully large number of chores. Anybody doing anything exciting?

I will be waiting for news of your TT mug's safe arrival.

Then - and only then - will I sleep.
