Ordered a refurbed laptop, a Lenovo, for £200. Never had one of them before.
Lenovo kit is usually pretty decent - the odd duffer of course but that's the same for any of the manufacturers really. I'm just being nosy here but what's the model/spec?
It's a B560 running a i3-380M, 2.53GHz.

Isn't that Toyota's version of Land Rover green that looks dreadful on LandCruisers?

It's warm in here but I'm leaving in half an hour. Do I take my jumper off? It would mean either putting it back on or carrying it to the car.

It's a logistical nightmare.

Carry it to the car. While there is a cooling breeze, the car will be hotter than a night in CB's rooftop pool.

Thinking of Sarf London...

Keen to use my evenings in South Glamorgan to better ends than absorbing repeats of Big Bang Theory, I decided to reinvigorate the Humer Unbeam derelict filling stations thread.* I would research a suitable candidate and drive out to photograph it.

So I searched on "Picturesque Petrol Stations South Wales." Picture 15 is of South Wimbledon Tube Station.

A search engine with a sense of humour.

Do you often cater to your avian friend this way? Does it give good plumage?

You'll notice he was careful to say 'a chicken' rather than 'my chicken.' I reckon in addition to waifs and strays pad has allowed wandering poultry into the TT orphanage.

I wondered what the extra noise and odour from the rhubarb forcing house was; can they not be toilet trained?

Evenin' all... two new guys started at work today.

A carpenter (no not Karen) and a cleaner/labourer. The break room is now full... and we need a bigger kettle

Er, excuse me, but I got up, drove to Wales, opened up the office, made a cup of tea and I'm still first in here.

What's going on?
when that happened to me I found it was because I had put my clocks forward by an hour (but everyone else had put theirs back by one).

I don't know how to say this but Karen Carpenter has passed away.

I'm off to feed the chicken and make a revolving curry.

Or revolting.

Self-feeding, self-fertilising, chicken/rhubarb/chicken combo.

You clearly don't recall voting for the current round of experiments.
