You know these big holes they keep finding in the Universe that they have trouble explaining? Well, I've just worked out that the Earth sees about 0.000000045% of the Sun's rays. What's to say that advanced civilisations haven't found ways of harnesing their star's energy and not let most of it go shooting off into Space like we do? If they did, it would appear to be a big empty space to casual observers such like us.

Coffee?
You want a Dyson Sphere.
That's amazing but next time we're going for the Multi Floor Cordless.

I thought I'd better check.

I have now been alive for 17,765 days.

It's good to just make sure from time to time.

I've been in long trousers since I turned 1095 days old. Mind you, it's because short trousers would have had me being done for exposing myself in public....

The long trousers thing is a bit old school, literally,as primary school boys always wore short trousers in my day

and graduated to longs in secondary school.

Although I do remember some larger boys having trouble finding shorts to fit in final primary years.

Obesity,not a new thing.

Exactly. I was 4,197 when I went into long trousers. There was only one boy in my year who arrived in short trousers. And he was scarily unaware of any perceived oddness.

I had a classmate at Prep school who, shall we say, was a fat fker. He was a good No.8 in the rugby scrum though. He had to wear his Dad's old suit trousers cut down to shorts for school.

He came to stay on our farm for a weekend once. I've never seen food packed away so rapidly, this is on a farm with some big heavy horses too. I had an old Mini van as a field car to play with, when he got in the whole bloody car groaned in pain. It didn't last the weekend. frown

I've had dinner at my desk.
I'm still at my desk with a beer.
I'd like to go home.

This morning there's justified reason to use fog lights. I've just used mine for the first time. Stay safe out there.
