Blue and clear here. Busy as buggery at work, so will hardly see daylight this week.

I noticed while I was juggling with Leap Years and all that old malarkey that I was born on the 65th day of the year. If there had been a Count Down board for days of the year to 31st December it would have read 300 on the day I was born.

smile

It was a Saturday and my dad was at the pictures. They did things differently then.

I have been alive 16,434 days.
When I reach 16436 I will be 45 years old and officially closer to 50 than 40 which is depressing.
I will be having a very exciting birthday working in Hullso it looks like my official Birthday will be on sunday and I am trying to persuade my wife to take me here http://truebarbecue.com/headingley/

You'll be sitting, trousers round your ankles, in a bowl of cold mash?

Uh, huh.

Out of bacon and sausages I will head off to town and replenish stocks.

Two hours later it was all good. Now it's another beautiful day. 5am, not so clear. You have a lie in?

Comparatively. I stopped at the Travelodge at the Junction 33 Services of the M4 last night. Twenty minutes from the office. It's consistently cheapest of all the local budget hotels.

There is a reason for this. Gee whiz it's grim. And recently refurbished.

Refurbished and grim; quite an acheivement.

Another reason for not using it too often is the prospct of leaving a car I care about overnight in a Motorway Services car park. Another guest at the hotel last night left their Rolls Royce Silver Spirit in amongst the lower orders so maybe I shouldn't be too fussy.

It's a lovely day here, too. At lunchtime I'll totter down to the sea and see what I can see.
