I dozed off before I got as far as "soothing and hypnotic." That's a good measure of just how soothing and hypnotic it is. The rain bouncing off the car did it for me.

(Yes I know this is a foodie thing, but if it goes to the food section of PH some bright spark will suggest a relish made of essence of elephant scrotum infused with o-rag-ah-no or some other herbal horror. )

Drat, late to the Sauce Party. My mum did a poor man's Devilled Sauce for sausages when we were kids. Mix equal quantities of salad cream and mango chutney together with as much Worcestershire Sauce as you can stand.
