That bit in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy where Arthur and Ford are marooned in prehistory and they use their Travel Scrabble to determine what will happen is really annoying. So much imagination - on so much of the plot - and then that.

Once again Pad gives out little pearls of wisdom.

In an unusual turn of events, I have arrived in Bristol and it's sunny.

Can anyone confirm whether this is a first for Bristol?

The Britain's Got Talent studio in Wembley had to be evacuated last week because of a war time bomb found in Empire Way.

When will this nightmare end?

Britain's Got Talent, I mean.
