Spotted trivia.

Saw a "General Lee" Charger in Basildon today.

It wasn't jumping a river at the time.

I'm in the Lake District.

It's like a smoothed out, diet version of Scotland.

My younger sister lives in the Lakes, bought a house many years ago , developed it into a gorgeous place .
Worth 3/4 of a million.
Can't sell it.
Yet......

Thai green curry, followed by trifle for dessert. Not a proper trifle unfortunately, and I doubt it would've met the Tower's standards.

I make a wizard trifle.

The secret, I believe, is to use a square sided bowl - or as close to square as possible - or there's too much tri and not enough fle.

Enough sponge fingers to cover the bottom of the bowl, cover with unset raspberry jelly made with just enough boiling water to melt the jelly then made up to volume with not too sweet tinned raspberries, then a layer of frozen raspberries, repeat for second layer, in the fridge to set, then custard. It's ace.

It doesn't need sherry, it doesn't need cream and it certainly doesn't need chocolate shavings or hundreds and thousands.

Just remember that despite claims to the contrary by D:Ream, things can only get worse. That's entropy for you!
