Slap/squeeze her arse and say "puttin a bit of timber on love" and laugh.

Be casual though, that'll make or break it.

If she ever walks backwards for any reason, do short whistles with a short pause between.

Quite ironic, in a good way in the end, that coming off anti-depressants has helped your OH more than being on them.
The irony is not lost on me, I assure you. Her new-found love of exercise, the weight loss and a cracking bunch of mates is proving a far better antidepressant than that which the doctor prescribed. But to be fair to him he had little alternative.

"Funny story. I saw Mrs. Goggins from no.23 in the supermarket yesterday. She asked me when you were expecting. I told her you aren't; she was absolutely mortified, and said she wouldn't mention it ever again, and asked if I could not tell you."

OP, how much weight gain are we talking? And has it affected her personality?

My ex went up 2 dress sizes and became a miserable bh always moaning about how fat she had got but did nothing to address it and got incredibly angry every time I suggested she came for a run with me or hit the gym. There isn't usually a way to come out of this situation on top, it actually finished our relationship.

Yeah, you would have probably not been too impressed had he asked her if she wanted to go for a pint or two with him. biggrin

"I was speaking to bob at work today about fixing the printer and we got on to the subject of his now ex mrs. Apparently, she put on a bit of weight and it killed the relationship - there was just no chemistry anymore. Odd. Anyway, I just signed us up to the gym, do you want to join me today or pop along tomorrow?"

Turn it around - pester her sex citing that you're really happy she's become a fuller figure? You like a woman that's podgy etc...

Do lots of arse-slapping along with earthy 'Wooooaaaarrrr' noises.

Buy her some slim fast shakes and leave them dotted around the house like cupboards, bedside cabinet, underwear drawer...

Then retire to the pub for a fortnight......
