A car in front gsrden (ususally a Clio or 205) up on axle stands or breeze blocks, with one of the front wheel arches containing nothing more than disconnected brake pipes and a rusty drive-shaft.

Quick update.. BaronVonV8 has overtaken that skinnypete guy as the biggest knob on PH's.

Do you lot speak like this to people's faces?? I thought not wink

I'm far from 'council' or poor (which most of you aim this at) but I just find most of these comments so cringey and snobby it's laughable. Get a grip guys.
Do I get a special trophy for that accolade? Perhaps in the shape of a giant, golden cock. Here's an update for you, nobody asked you to be offended on someone elses behalf. If you don't like it, don't read it, certainly don't get all preachy about it on the internet. I may be a big knob, but you're a sanctimonious minge.

Arguing and name calling on the internet, council. Guilty as charged.

I'll reiterate, you're boring. Nobody is interested in your towering erection of self-righteousness, this thread is amusing and if you take offence at it then don't read it.
You somehow managed to commandeer the thought, voices and opinions of everyone on Pistonheads and determine I'm boring. If that's really the worst thing I've got to worry about I guess I'm doing alright.

You, however, with the equivalent of me standing infront of you while you sit, in your fart filled armchair wearing last night's tea stained vest, you're sat there shouting " I'm watching telly, you're in the way"

How...council

I'll give you an option. We can call each other s and walk off, or we can carry it on, I'm fairly easy. Mr Mrs is in bed, I've got 2 more Stellas and half a pack of Marlboro Lights to go before I call it a night. Let us know
What an exciting Saturday night smile

I must admit I didn't realise that being deemed 'a bit council' was such a well known label. Till now I've only ever heard it within the domain of e30zone, as a label for anyone fitting a non OE part to their 325i sport.

Calling people 'bruv'
M badges on non M cars.
Drifting & references to the same.
Walls that remain devoid of wallpaper years after the old stuff was scraped off. (crayon drawings/graffiti optional)
White baseball caps, hoodies etc (includes pink detailing for women)
Massive stickers down one side of windscreen.
Powered by fairydust stickers for women.
Welded diffs and their associated racket.

I bought a small selection of running clothes (strictly not for casual wear) from Sports Direct recently. Included in the delivery was a box marked fragile.

I haven't opened it yet, but I'm fearing the worst.

Open it and embrace it, it will make you feel all manly inside, free yourself from the shackles of lower middle class snobbery.

Newborn babies in football strips. Every scummer I knew from school posts these kinds of pictures on Facebook.

This also reminds me: Adults wearing a football shirt as their 'smart' going out attire.

...I should've just said football, shouldn't I?

As feared. It's the Council mug.

Two points;

1) Damaged! I have a chip in it. I shall be demanding a full refund.

2) It's huge! My hand looks tiny when holding it

I will see your sports direct mug and raise you my 'daily' mug a slightly chipped, 'unofficial' David Beckham mug.

We had fillet steak with langoustines yesterday evening.
Followed by artic roll.

The artic roll was not ironic. We also considered vienetta, but they only had strawberry flavour, and I have standards. smile

Even someone whose home had wheels would find that a little cheap and tacky.

Excellent! And don't now pretend you won't use that for the rest of your life.

My daily is a 1L mug with the word 'BIG' on it.
