Remark earlier about aftermarket DRLs. I saw a car today (in the dark) with sidelights, foglights and aftermarket DRLs on.

Then I noticed it was a Rover 25.

Which leads me to:

Any <20 year old Rover. Council as you like.
Loads of Swiss cars have aftermarket DRLs now, but for an actual reason. At the start of 2014 the government passed a law saying all cars must have DRLs or dipped beam headlights on AT ALL TIMES. Even when it's 35 degrees and bright sunshine in mid summer.

If you have something like a mid 2000s Ford that means you have to remember to turn the headlights on every time you get in the car, if you forget the fine is about £70, so fitting chav DRLs makes sense in this instance. Thankfully my car has OEM DRLs so I don't have to look council.

Maybe all these cars in the UK are owned by keen skiers who spend a lot of time in Switzerland? wink

And they never, and I mean NEVER, have a full set of working brake or side lights.

No, failed brake lights is Vauxhalls.

I followed an Astra for a long way last week, very slowly.

It only had 2/3 brake lights.

On the plus side, they were on permanently.

LOL - Shameless.

Why the fk would you have a satellite dish on a long aerial pole, what, to get it an extra few feet closer to the orbiting satellite for a better picture. WTF.

It's as if these people go out of their way to make their home, sorry, hovel, blend in with everybody else's. It's all about fitting in.

God forbid if Jayden should go round Wayne's house and find it clean and tidy. He'd get beaten up on the spot.

Yes, but can't be too many left now (unless you meant later shape model).
I wonder if they'll ever hold the same wow factor as a jellymould Sierra does now?
I think an E36 BMW is de rigueur for the full council. A maroon 318i with a handful of 'upgrades', such as M3 mirrors and 'racing exhaust'.
And then sold on ebay as "318i M3 replica not 325i 328i ////M" or similar.
Or weld the diff and go driftin' innit.

That's some high-end Council right there!

Stick her in leggings and I'd be having sweaty thoughts if I followed her around Iceland.

ETA check out the kids names! Latoya rofl

Why would you call your children those names? Mikayla and Alisha (Alicia is fine, but not a made up spelling of it).

And being forced to work to take care of her family - isn't that a fairly average and normal reason to work?

No. The rest of us should work to take care of her family.

It's only fair.

They are not going to have their benefits stopped and they are not going to be prevented from having more children. There is no stopping them and we are going to have to pay and pay and pay again

I'd like the rule to be:
If you give birth any time after 12 months from when you started collecting benefits due to unemployment. Then that child is not taken into account for any benefits.

Leaving aside the obvious - that it cannot have been a surprise to him that he would have a lot of children were he to keeping getting her up the stick - why isn't he stumping up some money for these kids?
