Leaving aside the obvious - that it cannot have been a surprise to him that he would have a lot of children were he to keeping getting her up the stick - why isn't he stumping up some money for these kids?
I'm going to make a wild guess here and suggest he's not a City Trader about to collect a £2m bonus cheque. I'll make another wild guess, and suggest he also probably knows his way around a benefit claim form.

Nothing of much significance is likely to happen or ever be allowed to happen...

For every problem family there is a "crew" of behind the scenes staff...Social Workers/Housing Officers/
Benefits Officers/Housing Repair guys/ Minibus drivers to ferry the kids to special school...
to name a few. All these folks then need back-up themselves..Managers/Team Leaders/Supervisers/Offices/
Depots & Stores..the list goes on.

Too many jobs and pensions at stake for anyone to make any serious effort to change the system,
lots of hot air and empty promises from well meaning M.P's and the like but any change???

Sorry for such a depressing post..
You're spot on there, it's an industry.

These people are being farmed by local authorities to keep their ever increasing empire in work.
You're not wrong.

I really hope that you lot are going for the Daily Mail/Jeremy Vine approval rating because, well, you know, that's just utter bks.

Use your own brains rather than regurgitate something that's so patently nonsense.

Of course this is an important social issue, but saying it's insoluble because it's keeping public servants in work is laughably pathetic.

Thank you for your valued opinion.

I do not read the Daily Mail or listen to that idiot Jeremy Vine but I do have my eyes open to what is happening to this country.

C de G Thank you for your reply to my post, are you involved in Social Housing in some way?
If so please join in.. other constructive views are always welcome.

By the way don't just assume just "public servants" in the scheme of things plenty of
private contractors involved as well to keep the fire stoked up.

Oh and before you ask.. yes 27 years

I can understand her pain.

When I was made redundant my income benefits were capped at £72 per week (vs the 26k pa she gets).

I to was forced to look for a job. Mine was not my first job though I'd been in work for 30 years prior to that.

Old (J/K plate) imported Shoguns. Normally belching out smoke, driven by a neanderthal, complete with angry looking dog eating the remains of the interior.

I become anti socially flatulent if I eat a whole tin of beans at once, so put the remainder in the fridge which I sometimes forget about and then they go moldy, which is like Stilton beans.

Completely agree. A good dose of reggae reggae sauce soon sorts them out though

One of the barmaids in my old local used to wear one. My cousin was going out with her for quite a while, much to his parents' horror. His dad bribed him into off-hiring her when they went for a meal in a smart restaurant and she asked for egg and chips.
When I started going out on the town in my teens these were all the rage. If a girl had one on 9/10 she and her mates would be trouble
