That's just about perfect; I love the council house bird look.If I've been a good boy Mrs DS has been known to do the "council look"

Going to the indian or chinese, and ordering CHIPS.
(Raises hand) I do that. Not in a fine dining establishment though, strictly takeaways.

Tbh it is just another one of those ridiculous things that professional offences takers have decided to take offence to, on behalf of others.
Edit; there you go, the word has been censored, actually I think there is already a discussion on PH about it somewhere.

How about chips and gravy; council or northern?
I reckon northern. I came to Ulster 30 years ago, and couldn't believe that people put sauce on chips. They're supposed to be crispy - why would you wreck that by making them soggy?Even non-council folks here have gravy or curry on their chips. Even if they've just ordered sweet chilli chicken, the side order is often a gravy chip. How the hell do they eat such contrasting flavours? Halfwits.
