That's just about perfect; I love the council house bird look.
If I've been a good boy Mrs DS has been known to do the "council look" cloud9
Yep. My mrs knows if she wears her stretchy council tights, then she's very likely getting it later. Doubly so if the label is poking out of her knickers. Mmmmm yumyumyum.
I'm getting turned on!

Going to the indian or chinese, and ordering CHIPS.
wavey (Raises hand) I do that. hehe

Not in a fine dining establishment though, strictly takeaways.
It is ludicrously council but I also can't resist a portion of chips with a chinky!
Our local chinky does great chips, compared to the chippy that sells uneatable mush.

Proper council is half rice half chips with your chinky.

is the contraction for a Chinese takeaway no-longer classed as racist language then?

I didn't know it was ever deemed as racist?! I have a Scottish father and a Lithuanian mother, so I wasn't subject to the most "PC" of upbringings when it comes to language.

Recently some councillor or MP or similar was hauled up and accused as being racist as he mentioned the word "chinky"; can't remember in what context but it was something to do with the Chinese, I have recently also read that it is not the done thing now to say something along the lines of "a in the armour", meaning a weakness.

Tbh it is just another one of those ridiculous things that professional offences takers have decided to take offence to, on behalf of others.

Edit; there you go, the word has been censored, actually I think there is already a discussion on PH about it somewhere.

I reckon northern. I came to Ulster 30 years ago, and couldn't believe that people put sauce on chips. They're supposed to be crispy - why would you wreck that by making them soggy?

Even non-council folks here have gravy or curry on their chips. Even if they've just ordered sweet chilli chicken, the side order is often a gravy chip. How the hell do they eat such contrasting flavours? Halfwits.

Chips and gravy or curry sauce is just plain wrong.

Personally mushy peas only with a pie or "babbies head", as for pea wet, that is proper council.
