Surely this isn't new to you though?

Any ST model really, and this is coming from a Fiesta ST owner!

The same could be said of any VXR tbh. Except the VXR8. It is Bogan, the Aussie equivalent biggrin

binned

Got a few of the same on mine.

"Proud Mummies" and their political insights.

Still think the bourgeois lefties are worse. The people with sheltered wealthy upbringings declaring their disgust at Cameron's victory using the same arguments about food banks and the plight of the disabled/poor. I'm happy for them to donate their spare earnings to the council estates of Britain but I'd rather not give away my own.

If it's not already been added to the list I would put forward the Mondeo ST as being council.

Have we had this one yet? Kids getting run over. My missus works in a tough inner-city school and it's always the council kids stepping in front of a bus for some reason.

Definitely a recent yoof thing, in the 90s it was cool as fk to pull off massive wheelies for 100m plus on your mountain bike biggrin

Not like how it used to be in the old days mumble grumble etc moanwink

To "Council" folk, everything seen as establishment - government, local government, insurance companies, solicitors, anybody involved in legitimate business - is against them in some way and therefore fodder from which to feed. "They", the establishment, have so much money they won't notice if they lose some. It's all fair game.

I know people who have claimed compo so many times they're on a black list. They've nothing to show for it of course - it's gone in days on fags, booze, dope, parties, designer trainers for the baby........They think you're mad if you DON'T try to get some. It's a different world.

(BTW I recall riding to the local shops as an errand for my mum, cycling all the way with my hands off the bars. Not showing off, just for the fun. I did indeed live on a council estate at the time, although in those days , the 1950s, social housing was mainly for decent working people, the old-style working class who still had respect for authority, self-respect and a modicum of dignity, and were on the whole reliable and honest. That social class seems to have been eradicated - the generation of wealth from the 60s onwards means many of them are now home-owners, and what has been left behind is the permanently unemployable underclass.)

Sorry, but that is very much a teenage thing, or someone who loves music. I am guilty of such things, but these days I tend to have the windows up when the music is on! biggrin

I'd add inflicting anything on others that they haven't asked for - litter, noise or the like. Lonsdale. I was going to put 'elasticated denim', but that seems to be more Eastern European thing....

Indeed, I am 24 and in the XJ I have music blasting away with the windows up. I did go out of my way to make sure I had the 20 speaker 1200w B&W option.

I can also teach him how to sit on the handlebars and ride backwards. That ain't council.
Now that I can do biggrin Never fails to impress my kids, unfortunately doesn't have the same effect on the missus.
  • Doffs cap* ... some local nutter showed me how to do it in my youth, and in the intervening years I've never met anyone else that can. Glad to hear the skill is shared! smile
