Massive trampolines with "safety netting" wrapped around them, that not only take up pretty much all of the space that used to exist in the garden, before the trampoline arrived, but also tend to have a height twice as tall as the 6ft+ perimeter garden fencing once erected.
The modern equivalent of having an old settee in the front garden! If I won the lottery I wouldn't get anything. My daughter would though, and save a fortune in inheritance tax. I'm sure she'd see me alright. But I suppose thinking out of the box isn't council enough. I had a client sent to me about 1980 and he lived in statistically the worst road in Leicester where credit was a a thing of dreams. He'd lost a leg in a lumberyard accident and we persuaded him to invest some of them money for the future - he was only 19. No matter what though, it was all gone by 22. Buying and selling cars and lots of new "friends" saw to the lot.

This, the s next to us have one (must be the biggest you can get), right up against our fence, meaning our garden is pretty much a no go area (if you want privacy), and our conservatory is also looked straight into when its in use. They could put it elswhere were it would not affect us, but have refused (Their garden is plenty big enough). In the process of contacting their rental agents to see what they can do, but dont hold much hope, as legaly they are not doing anything wrong (I think?).
The fence needs replacing, which is ours on that side, so will be going for a 7ft one, which may help privacy. fking s!!!

Scratchcards.
I mentioned this some time ago with the adddition 'Scratching furiously while still at the counter, or directly outside the shop, with a sense of desperation'.I like old school council, the days of the football pools.
Would never bother but I had nine quid in my online account that does the lottery weekly for me, you can only take out £10 or more and it had been there for years, cant remember why it was there, anyway, thought sod it will introduce myself to online gaming.
Bought three £3 Monopoly scratchards online to get rid of the nine quid, first one, nothing, second, nothing third one, won £20 which got multiplied by 3 to £60.
Stopped and cashed out my sixty quid, never to return, am sure they set a flag to say "we have a new sucker, let them win and hook them forever".
I bet so many waste money they can ill afford at an alarming rate on those things but the £60 will pay for a takeaway tonight, keeping the council theme.

Be a shame if loads of bird seed magically appeared on their trampoline.... if it's anything like here, the birds don't even need an excuse to st all over the place. They could put it elswhere were it would not affect us, but have refused (Their garden is plenty big enough).
