Agreed. I was at a party in the park-type thing last night, and the feral under-classes seemed to be enjoying themselves much more than the polite middle-class folk.

The upper class and lower class know how to have fun.
It is the leased, new build, "shoes off please" lot who (think they) are in the middle who have a stick up their bums.
It really is textbook as I've found those in the middle to constantly have sticks up their arses.
When at a large social gathering, I care about my children, I cannot get drunk and ignore/shout at them, I try hard to make sure that my behaviour doesn't impede others' enjoyment. I still have fun but not the drunken, carefree debauchery that you describe.

People who fit large 'Pistonheads smiley' stickers on their car? boxedin: I always think it looks chav regardless of where it is and on what car. A 2inch one max should be the rule (if you have to).
I'm in Istanbul now, actually laying in bed and wondering what to see today. Very interesting place, here for a couple of days with the OH, left the kids at home. Miss to dog more than the kids...that's probably council tho...Have we done this......
