Do they cost a lot to run/maintain?I would love to get one,but I am actually near the water
Yes, they do. Apart from petrol on the water being expensive, they burn through a lot of it (think of the effort it takes to run in a swimming pool)

Bits that would be cheap if they were going on the same V6 or V8 in a GM pickup are suddenly really expensive at marine specialists
Even stuff like head units and speakers are more expensive

Winterisation/dewinterisation work
Loads of things going wrong through lack of use (in this country you just can't use them that regularly)
Aaah well,I guess thats out of the window then. They all look so damn cheap on eBay e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fletcher-gto-speedboat-w...
but I bet thats why,no maintenance,no care etc. I wasnt thinking of a 40 foot Sunseeker, just something with an outboard & enough room for a few kids(I know, waaay too council biggrin)

Of course, no disability badge visible. Wasn't sure what thread to put it in, it would fit in many!

Love all the stickers, just in case no one realises it's a Beamer.

A Beamer? Really? Something tells me it may be Scottish too.

Taken just outside Glasgow... Wouldn't be surprised if there was a 'YES' sticker in the windscreen. I didn't check.

The happy days when you own a boat are limited to just two; the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

Going by the way those stickers have been applied the driver is allowed to use that space as he obviously has Parkinsons.
