Tesco, Farm Foods, ASDA
As a former Farmfoods employee, I can confirm it's true. Mind you we did get some very polite and decent customers but a fair share of them were pure filth. Very rude, stuck up and reeking of perspiration. Not to mention their 13 ill-mannered and annoying little sts. But then again I don't exactly live in the best of areas. However working in a place like that makes you appreciate your current job.Snozzwangler said:
I don't really see allotments being council - they take time and care.
Council ain't about that!
Allotments in the South East are very far from council - there's a waiting list as long as your arm of the middle-classes gagging to get their hands on one. My Father-in-law (1950's Irish immigrant, a navvy, if you will) laments that they have stopped being the place where working class blokes can skive off to their shed for a bit of peace and quiet from 5 kids, and being able to chat to blokes of his ilk, as they've all died and the allotments have been taken over by what the media would call 'young professionals' ... usually down there with their screaming kids! Council ain't about that!

Free range organic children. (Invariably not council - in fact worse.)

We witnessed similar at the maternity ward in Basingstoke. Mothers-to-be and mothers with newborns puffing away on fags outside the main entrance How about sitting In a hospital.gown,in a wheelchair, outside the hospital doors, smoking a fag?
