These are mostly caused by the same thing - new build estates where they squeeze in as many houses as possible, instead of giving the houses a bit more room to create parking.

3-bed house? That'll be a single space on the driveway then. Until you block pave the front garden to create more parking...

Which is a situation created by the planning guidelines. You see the thinking is that if there's less parking, then people will need less cars.

And there's no arguing with that kind of thinking.

My missus does this and as a result, she is now called .

I have two in the back garden, I refuse to do the walk of shame back to waitrose.

However she has no issue with this, the problem being she's just lazy and doesn't bother.
