I'm on the fence with Adele. I don't car much for her music, but accept she's a good singer with a good voice.Miranda.

What I like about her, is that she buggers off between her albums. She doesn't live the daft 'celebrity' lifestyle that most other singers do, she's massively successful but just lives a normal life and stays out of the press and nonsense the rest of the time, which I wish more people would do.
She's common as anything though..

Having a Facebook account = Council.
Give over you old duffer.I joined Facebook when it was a University tool - when you still needed a verified '.ac.uk' email address to join. It was very useful in getting involved with other students because I lived off-campus, it could be difficult to be social.
Now it's got the great unwashed on there, but given you choose who you can interact with, that doesn't inherently make it council.

Indeed. One could argue that it is now the favoured tool of middle-class one-upmanship and humble bragging with people posting fawning updates on their dreadful children's minor achievements, holiday photos from exotic holidays to rub it in to those left behind in the grey UK, etc.Truckosaurus said:

Not sure how they are especially council. Mrs Browns Boys and Miranda are hardly council, Adele, meh. Granted Reebok trainers and Superdry might be a bit council, but wouldnt say JW was. You know how much a Jack Wills hoody is?!

Jack Wills is favoured more by lazy middle-class uni students than council type to be honest.
When Jack Wills was in it's infancy, they gave free clothing to the Head Boy and Head Girl of all the top private schools in England to help promote the brand virally. It worked, massively. Definitely not council.Bloody idiots like this who try to make a bit on the side and it comes back to bite them.
