Heavy metal unless you're American
You're going to have to help me out with this one.Heavy metal unless you're American
The original metal bands were British. Why is it council? And why is it acceptable if you're American?

I'm struggling with this one, your average chav is going to be listening to some "banging house music", drum and bass, or some other type of music that you can only really enjoy when you are off your tits on ketamine, not heavy metal.
I don't think that Heavy metal is chav.I don't really think that decent House or DnB is Council either. With a proviso. What you listen to on Kiss or Capital are NOT DECENT versions of those genres. The average Chav has never heard of Fierce Angel (since Mark Doyle started on JazzFM with HedKandi before selling it to MOS) or SubSoul and Hospital records and (years ago) Good Looking Records are completely off the radar as well. The term Liquid Funk would result in massive blank looks.
Most chavs round here listen to Grime or Professor Green or that guy with the video where he cant dance and there's a million virals doing the rounds at the moment. Black Canadian guy I think? if they do go for House they think Ministry of Sound is the only thing around!

Football club stickers on numberplates.
Or windows, or any other part of a car.
Extra council point for a scarf draped across the parcel shelf too.
Football paraphernalia in general really, I'd be tempted to go as far as saying the entire sport is council, but will draw the line at wearing merchandise when not playing/attending a game.Or windows, or any other part of a car.
Extra council point for a scarf draped across the parcel shelf too.

It never ceases to amaze me, but 90%+ of the graffiti here is just someone spraying 'GCZ' or 'FCZ' - the two football clubs in the city. That really is council.Or windows, or any other part of a car.

An area in which someone would steel your balls if they weren't in already in a bag, check out the motors in the picture.
Page won't open (happens often with the Cambridge News site), but as it's Cambridge I'm guessing Arbury? An area in which someone would steel your balls if they weren't in already in a bag, check out the motors in the picture.

The entire RnB, drum n base, house music, garage - whatever you want to call it: is defacto full council.
added points for putting yr sofa on the lawn and these days, the soundbar from yr flatscreen on the windowsill to listen to it.
roll back a few years it would be the speakers from your stack system.
Heavy metal, rock and its ilk is not council. trust me, 25 years of visiting the council- its not a medium that is heard widely from cars or houses.
