Let's be honest - the fact that the flag is inverted is not the most council detail in the photograph.

The green fencing concerns me but that looks an OKish road.

Bringing a commercial vehicle home like this is council. Your choice of employment should not impact on your neighbourhood. There are a few exceptions I guess. A small van used for your own business is fine - high end wine merchant, antiques dealer, artisan baker, bespoke cricket bat maker, etc - but big stuff and stuff clearly not owned by the driver is naff. Parking on double yellows in your moody old Jag just tops things off.

Are old XFs now council? I rather like them.

It's a primary school of the left, that's the fence for its fields, just behind me to the left is the main entrance.

It's a nice road generally, entrance to the woods at the bottom.

But as with most of the area, as the old folks move on, their houses get taken on by young couples with leased Jukes, local council / construction vans etc.

I visited a tenant yesterday. Morbidly obese. filthy home. he and his belongings were covered in cigarette ash. Big flat screen bolted to the wall with cables hanging everywhere.

Has carers to bathe his awful fat body.

I declined to sit down, the furniture wasn't clean enough to use.

I haven't heard this for a while, but I have heard it before......... when referencing his carers coming to see and attend to him, he commented that his dog is normally racist, but even she is now getting accustomed to the Pakistani carers visiting and thus not attacking them.

I have had tenants tell me before that they have trained their dogs to go for anyone that isn't white skinned.

Truly shocking isn't it.

Concrete imitation clay tile hanging. Check. White PVC front door with sidelight. Check. Too much external cabling. Check.

That isn't and has never been a council house.

He's obviously parked it there to wash it. If that is council, I'm not sure?

A house doesn't need to be owned by the council to be considered council.

And the giant racist flags covering Windows etc most definitely is council. Posing for a photo in the local newspaper is council too.

Parking on double yellows to wash your car is a bit daft.

But the truck thing.. I can't imagine the old folks in the bungalows behind that house appreciate that thing rumbling and maneuvering onto the drive at all hours.

You don't always have to train them. People who don't like dogs are something dogs tend to react too, although I'm not sure how they always seem to know. One of our dogs could be classed as racist, she really doesn't like people who appear less than impressed to see her. The other dog just hates everyone he doesn't know because he's rescue & had a hard life.
