That's me bksed, then!

I thought an unmolested E46 coupe was the diametrical opposite to council.

I'd also nominate any non-current shape Vauxhall. They go caaaaahncil very quickly. Strangely Fords don't do this.

What about E34s? Are they still council?

There's a sizeable number of cars I've seen here in Liverpool with a huge 3ft x 1ft bit of signwriting in the rear window promoting Everton and their team song:

If thats not council in the extreme, I dont know what is

Would be council to the max if they replaced 'you're' with 'your'

I have some nice gins (one kindly bought as a gift by a member of this forum) but I use Sainsbury's own or whatever for sloe gin. For raspberry vodka I use the cheapest although I wouldn't have a glass of it - I really enjoy a good vodka.
Now that is council - finding the empty bottle in a skip and filling it with Tesco's own. Shame on you wink

Yes. E36s are slowly becoming less council, heading towards E30 territory.

No. E39s are council now, and E60s are quickly getting there.

It's a very specific age or car, once they hit about 10 years old they seem to become council, and as they get closer to 20 they come out the other side being much more valuable.

Full clarification appreciated.
Having retained one's standards sufficiently to 'dress properly' before going out, but lacking the will (presumably through alcoholism) to wash one's clothes or one's self.
Pathetic and regrettable, though based on an enormous amount of assumption on my part.

I was saying just this when I visited the classic car show at the NEC recently.

There was a stand full of XR2s. All original and immaculate. It was like standing on a Ford stand at the motor show 25 or 30 years ago.

Said to my mate that they'd come out the other side....through being nice second hand buys onto being to boy racer bangers TWOCers chariots or whatever, and now desirable interesting sought after classics.

There's a local off road place near me, every weekend without fail these are linings the roads and lay-bys broken in one way or another awaiting another counciler to come in his equally stty frontera to tow it home at 5mph pissing everyone off.

The P38 is just as bad.

"One life, live it!" "Best 4x4xfar" and so on.
