Yep, Frozen Rice from Birdseye is sooooo much better and less council than frozen rice from Island..........LOLI'm certain that the rice was birdseye but I don't know whether the lentils were branded or Iceland's own... but it was as nice as any rice or lentils from a non-council supermarket.

Yet more chronic ignorance.1. It is Iceland not Island. It's a not very clever pun on the fact that everything they sell is frozen. "Ice" you see.
2. Unless it is the high-end private label range (Tesco Finest, Sainsburys Taste the difference) then private label is ALWAYS more council than a proper brand (unless you are in Waitrose, M&S, Harrods, Selfridges, Whole Foods or Fortnums).
3. Iceland egg fried rice is £2.31 per kg (£1.50 for 650g).
4. Tesco egg fried rice is £2.50 per kg (£1.50 for 600g).
5. Birdseye doesn't even do plain egg fried rice, it's "Fragrant Golden Vegetable Rice" at £4.61 per kg (£1.75 per 380g).
This makes Birdseye almost exactly 100% less council than Iceland.

I pass on the way to a neighboring town a V12 engined Daimler X300 LWB. It's shabby, missing a wheel Centre parked up on not the best street near a crapoy boozer. It is full council. As for MG ZTs? Mine was a high mike V6 that I got when I needed a big cheap 'van' during a house renovation. X Power stainless steel exhaust, X Power green calipers and flip paint. I think it knocked 100k off the price of the house and in the brief time I owned it rattled windows with its Zorst. I never thought of it a council. More a middle class girl who'd made some bad choices in life......OK I guess it was council but a bit of dirt does you no harm!
As a recent MGF owner I joined a couple of modern MG type groups on Facebook in order to keep an eye on any decent parts etc. During which time I was able to see the sort of "enthusiast" that they draw these days. It is predominantly made up of men in their 30s/40s who have stuck as many V6 badges, DRLs and MG decals onto their ZTs as possible. Occasionally an overweight woman makes it through and flaunts her highly accessorised (pink, naturally) TF 1.6, at which point the men work themselves into a frenzy and drop in all sorts of needless, inappropriate and often not-very-good double entendres. There is a core who are not council, who are into the design, and tasteful modifications.
There was a site I used to frequent where there was far too much "Fnarr Fnarr, I went out topless yesterday." Quite tragic comments. "Can someone adviser me on my big end". Etc.
Sadly forums for the car are almost dead which is a shame because despit the innuendo knackers there was a huge level of knowledge and help there.
Now as you say, it's all on Facebook with more than its fair share of ynos who clearly rely on the local authority to source their accommodation.

I microwave rice. Half a cup is a rough measurement per person, double the amount in boiling water, microwave it in a bowl with a lid for 10 mins and then leave it to sit for 10 mins. Probably not as convenient as frozen rice and I promise I'm not a foodie t3 minutes in the microwave (the most council of cooking tools) versus tarting about with a boiling pan for half an hour or so to make a single portion.
