This was originally posted in the "Sh*t driving caught on cam" thread in General Gassing, but I think deserves posting here as the 2 pedestrians are quite Council: the one with the can of drink has almost perfected the simian Liam Gallagher gait, and the other is wearing a hoodie and has some kind of staffie type dog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqu0YgSqrGU&fe...

Love the way the one with the dog made no effort to run across to help, just kept sauntering on at normal pace. From what I can see, the Golf had plenty of time to stop or at least reduce speed. Was this an insurance scam?

You're clearly "A bit council"... wink
Probably!

I just found your story funny and it's even more funny if it's true (I don't have evidence other than your word wink)
Assuming the lad was telling the truth to me. Mind you I met his dad a few times and I could believe it.

I think it is to help their balance as they start to walk, also to get them used to wearing them.

Hello everyone, my names Wolfracesonic and I may have a problem: I picked up a doner kebab on the way home from work and ate it for my tea evening meal whilst sat in the cab of my Transit pickup on the driveway of my own home. Is this early onset council?

Was it picked up from the floor or did you go into the shop and hand money over. This will indicate your council threat level.

I paid for the kebab and usually leave the Transit at work and come home in the car. Does this mean there is still hope for me? Or should I accept what I am and sign up for a '12 step' type programme to combat my affliction?

For added 'council points' do you have a disused refrigerator discarded within the rear of said pick up?

Put it down as a bit of a wobble. You have strayed but realise the error of your ways. Try and resist these urges and you should be ok.

Haha! The reason I had to pick up the kebab was because I had no food in the house as the freezer threw a wobbly at the weekend and everything defrostedmad Luckily I managed to unblock the drain plug and it should be alright, otherwise there could well have been a non working fridge/freezer at the front of the house. I feel like I've dodged a bullet.

I know, not having any fresh produce to eat=councilfrown

Absolutely all of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfDtylU8ZEA

Infact this is several grades even lower than council, including gypsy horses, baby dolls head garden ornaments, riding a bicycle with no tyres on it, 'boredism' and a wonky eyed lad whos mom thought she needed a st and instead gave birth to him in the toilet. Not enough gene pools in the village.

"Nor tax, Nor test" has become a phrase me and a few friends still use to refer to council types, after we first saw this.

I used to work in the area around Skinningrove. It was known as Red River Valley, because whenever it rained the water running down from the hills was a rusty colour due to the ironstone in the earth. Really weird to see - a red stream emptying into the sea.

I only watched the first couple of minutes. There are other mining villages round there which are just as bad. I still reckon nothing beats Jaywick Sands.

Sign up, and then don't turn up, blaming a lack of credit or something. That's how a true Councillor (er... not quite sure that's the correct epithet) would do it.

You work.
You live in a mortgaged/fully paid off home.
You didn't get a taxi to and from the kebab van.
Relax...

Thanks for the reassurance. It might have been a blessing in the long run, the brief exposure to an attenuated form of council may have enabled my body to build up an immunity, in much the same way the polio vaccine works: Can I risk going into a Greggs now do you think? Do they deliver?
