Found me out. I dug it out of the drawer for an airing only yesterday. It's a lot more accurate than my Spitfire Chrono though!

Replaces their boring coloured german hatchback every three years, with an similarly boring coloured, but somewhat different spec german hatchback, possibly triggered by the facelift of said german hatchback.

A significant proportion of his income goes on keeping his wife/ex-wife* in a skin colour to which she's become accustomed.

I saw an SL500 for sale, for a shade under £4K. I mean how much more better/worse could it be.

Was about to pull the trigger to trade in reliable sensible car, when I saw a 162K mile 3.2 V6 omega for sale (cam belt recently changed)

What could possibly go wrong ? £525 out for the Omega and £750 in for a mk4 astra that cost me £850 22k miles ago, and really needed a cam-belt as running it in "Cam belt roulette" mode - ie fk it, another engine will be cheaper than changing it.

Wife Hates it. Said something about it being "Council"

I think this should now be the default greeting at all PH meetings. Yes, in person, with outstretched hand.

One presumes you mean "Please may I have ..."
