The inbuilts tend to be specced by kitchen designers rather than actual users- You'd be amazed how many people just walk into a kitchen showroom and let a designer tell them what they need (to impress the Joneses). I was explaining to a customer the other day why she had a funny little gas ring (wok burner) next to the large induction hob. They'd personally had the kitchen designed and fitted but had no idea what half the stuff was for.Ours is in constant use.
I'd wager most people serious about their coffee already have a favoured setup so wouldn't necessarily spec an inbuilt.

An IT contractor he knows how to maximise income from divvies. It allowed him to get an Elise at 24 whilst that lot were still out ruining their lives on partying and girls. Still a virgin but loves track days. Hopes to marshall one day.
After meeting a girl online he got married in Moss Bros, had a kid and got a divorce within 3yrs. Snake with tits now lives in the house whilst he's in an appartment overlooking Waitrose in Leighton Buzzard. All the consoles and a huge DVD collection housed in black shelving. Filthy carpets.
The boy now comes over every other weekends and our man wants him to get into karting but he's not interested. Doesn't seem interested in the leased Golf either and can't wait to go home to mum.
Talks about pulling the trigger on the latest Maplin gadget. Knows all about Rolex but mostly posts in the £50 watch thread. Hates muzzles and reckons Nige is the only way out of the LabLibCon establishment that's delivering this country to hell in a handcart.
Work colleagues don't tend to notice the handmade suits straining round his paunch. It's 12yrs old now but handmade is handmade and off the peg is for proles. At home he has some really peaty whisky that he unsuccessfully persuades himself that he enjoys.
