According to wikipedia, prostitution itself is legal, but not being a pimp, running a brothel etc.

I think you have to be a special kind of guy to be happy with your partner going out and "escorting" men every night, and even moreso if she's having sex with them. I used to work with a girl who was considering escort work as a way of making some extra money.
She honestly thought it would mean going to dinner with businessmen etc, who just wanted some company. After explaining that there was a 99% chance they would be expecting sex, she thought she could still get away with it for the first couple of "dates" with the bloke.
