Birthday traditions around the world

I'm taking part in a charity event and need to complete around 30 traditional birthday celebrations.
Each one needs to come from a different country. I have found stuff online, but most of them involve the same things (cake, ear pulling, bumps etc...). Have the PH massive got any suggestions?

In India and Sri Lanka it seems to be customary for the person whose birthday it is to pay for the treat for their friends!

Are you leaving the UK until last? As getting seriously wasted first wouldn't help?

In Poland they don't even celebrate their birthdays, their name days are more important.

Include Poland then you could do it twice
