Glad I didn't chuck out my CDs. New car only does CD and radio, no bluetooth or Aux In. frown

AND THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T THROW THINGS AWAY!!!

Mobile phones - I must have at least ten of the bloody things. There seems little point sending them to Mazuma or the like - unless they're about five minutes old they aren't worth enough to bother with.

I do like turning one on occasionally and looking through old text messages to see what I was doing five years ago...

Got loads of Top Gear car Magazines from around 09, and a few Autocar and Auto Express ones. Could have had loads more, but haven't bought any in a while.

Secondary school books I won't ever throw away. I left in 2011, brings back good and bad memories whenever I go through them, especially the History books, good old Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire.

Still have all the certificates I was given in year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They'll never get thrown away. 1st place in bat and ball year 4 sports day woohoohehe

I find that the moment I throw something out, it is pretty much guaranteed that within 3 months of doing so I will need it again.

This tends to disincentivise me from throwing stuff out, although from time to time necessity demands I have a clear-out.

A pair of white flared pants, I was wearing 48 years ago, when I won this sexy chick, who is the mother of my kids.

A 1962 racing helmet. It so old it has all leather straps, & a buckle on the chin strap.

Are you waiting for when you want to get it divorced? You can then wear them again in some agreeable symmetry.

Mrs DWS complains that I never throw anything away. I don't. Still got the Barbour I had when I was 16. Now 51, and it still fits (Just). Got pair of mole grips my Grandpop had, they are broken. he's been dead 40 years ago. They are still in my tool box.

Seems I'm not alone in the love for a t-shirt hehe
I have a half dozen 'bar' t shirts I bought 25 years ago, in my earlier Asian adventures, some with rather non-pc slogans on. My wife has tried to bin them, none of them fit me, some are raggedy assed thread bare, but I'll never get rid of them. biggrin
