On a serious note, your hands growing is a sign of possible brain tumor. I know a chap who had this symptom, and was spotted whilst he was in a card game with a doctor. The Dr suspected it was related and had him checked out. Sure enough he had a tumour. Thankfully it saved him in ime, but he still undergoes treatment every few months to keep his hormones balanced.
Maybe not in your case, but worth knowing about the possibilities. I don't think it's well known.

I used to play ball as a yoof, there were a few centres who had massive hands and could grab the ball whilst moving, gives such an advantage moving the ball. I have a wide finger span, makes playing bass easy !
I'm a short arse 5'9" although I can pick up a size 5 no problems
