I'll confess to buying at 15 pairs of identical socks at once so I can throw them all in one bin without worrying about pairshehe

Once they start to get holey I'll throw the lot and repeat.

Only with a bigger logo.
Seriously? You wear those godawful things, in public????? yuck
My wife once bought me one of those, and it was a knock off!

It was bought for the only thing I don't care about....the logo...and it was huge frown

I've been doing this for years.

I buy identical socks so that there's no need to look for a pair, just grab any 2

I live almost exclusively in Dickies work shirts and a pair of Jeans and I always buy the same trainers because they're the ones I like.

Almost all of the above are black as well.

My husband buys zillions of identical socks. Which I can understand, and am sometimes a bit envious, because I'm always losing one of a matched pair. Always. Sometimes they resurface months later, but the Sock Monster is very active in our house.

I've so often wished I'd bought more than one of certain clothes, because when they wear out I can't find anything I like nearly as much.

So I have started buying two of things I love, if they're reasonably enough priced at the time. The two things I do buy in bulk are layering tops (vests or long-sleeved, always black) and black tights.

When I find a pair of jeans I like, I almost always buy two pairs. Saves on the whining when they inevitably fall apart!

As I prefer short sleeve the snickers work shirts are pricey but well worth it- just bought 7 to replace the ~5 year old ones that were starting to fall apart after 5 years (and believe me 5 years on me is good going)

These are the short sleeve ones. The most annoying thing about them is they're £30+ in the UK, and about £13 if you get them from the states!

I think it was the polyester % is much lower in the snickers that swayed it then, really comfy though. Had to give some thought to spending £40 each on workshirts but the track record justified it.

Yeah wouldn't pay that I get this set usually made with Egyptian cotton.

http://www.sunspel.com/uk/mens/sunspel-sets/t-shir...

If you buy from them a 20% discount comes around a few times a year and the sales are pretty decent.

Unfortunately I like nice clothes but go quality over quantity.

Whilst that may seem excessive, if they keep shape, and more importantly the neck, then it's undoubtedly worth it.

They are top quality have t-shirts a 2/3 years old now still look brand new with no loss of shape.

Got a beautiful navy fishermans merino wool jumper reduced from £250 down to £100 a timeless classic that will last forever if you look after it.

If it's good enough for James Bond it's good enough for mebiggrin
