Did the medics attribute it to the BP or chub?
Apparently they don't know what caused it. Either is likely.I suspect it was caused by exercise - I had a terrible headache climbing a hill (on my bike, not walking or in the car!) at the weekend before, then it suddenly went, gone, no pain at all.

I have forgotten a lot of what I used to know and can no longer do my old role (I was an IT architect); well I say forgotten, it's perhaps "harder for me to reach it" rather than forgotten. I don't speak out so much any more, that's for certain.
In terms of mobility / control, I do have a weaker side now, my right hand / right leg gets tired easily when I walk and cycle now. I've bought a single speed bike now, with the intention of making that side of my body work a bit harder now. I am fine in the mornings, but in the afternoon and evenings I get very tired, although that has got a bit better now.
I had my stroke 2 years ago now, actually may be more like 2 years and 3 months. I would not wish it on anybody; one of worst parts is that I found out that I do not like needles, and it seems that everyone in the medical service wants to stick them in me now!

Best of luck with the recovery and hopefully your brain will rewire itself to some degree.
