I have a Mulberry one that looks almost as good now as when I got it back in '08. Pretty confident it will do me for 15 years. I think they are £150-200 now but I got it for £40 at Bicester near Oxford. Might be worth a visit if you're nesrby.

I got one from Aspinal via their ebay outlet, £20 and I've had it for 3 or more years and it looks like new.

This!

I've had a Paul Smith wallet for over 11 years and it's lasted brilliantly, it wasn't cheap, £107, but at cost per years it's bloody good value

I'd second Ettinger. Aspinal for something a little less expensive.

I like a small card-holder (and money-clip) for when I don't need everything with me. Have a look at Wingback and Gas Gas Bones.

My osprey fell apart after about 18 months, my montblanc silk/leather affair fell apart after 2 years frown

Have bought an aspinall of london wallet to see how it wears, suede and leather feels lovely but I fear it is going to go "bald" and fall apart frown

I am not heavy handed just put it in the back pocket of my jeans and not too many cards or cash frown Maybe I have just been unlucky?

You get some cool velcro ones. The material allows you to have some great artwork (or your fave football team) on them too!

Serious question; why do you want a wallet?

I take the view if I lose one card, its a problem, but I usually have a second one with me. If I lose a wallet containing all my cash/cards including driving licence etc its a disaster!

Sometimes fashion branded ones are not the longest lasting and before long look like an octogenarian's ball sac.

Bought a dark brown leather "Made in England" wallet 30yrs ago from Altrincham Market for less than a fiver and its still going strong. Bit rough around the edges but has a patina that can't be replaced. And yes it does get used - every day. As a modern match Ettinger probably comes closest in terms of quality

4yrs ago my wife bought me a Paul Smith 'nude lady' wallet. It's still in the box on my desk!

Wallets Wallets Wallets .........Bought a £200 Mont Blanc 2 weeks ago, lost it 3 days later..... frown

Wasn't mad keen on it anyway, got a Chopard today which is lovely.

Ive got a thing about wallets being far too big....The montblanc was far too big and clumsy, despite being smaller than standard.

Chopard is very neat, £20s just about fit in, £50s hang out slightly and £100s don't fit.

Perfect Wallet - Chopard 2 classico

Get yourself one made from stingray leather. They're bombproof. Nuclear bombproof.
