A couple which stole days of my life were:

A guy decides to build a miniature fission reactor in his bedroom and ends up in all sorts of strife.

An ordinary final 419er baiting thread which escalated into washing machines being posted to Nigeria with the recipient picking up the tab. Fake laptops, it went on and on

Nah this was a school age kid in the U.S. Probably about 10 years ago. He gave a running commentary on the forum of his endeavours in acquiring the materials, to much scoffing and warning from the other posters
