Done. Good luck mate and all the best.

Signed. Best of luck. I can't believe an NHS that funds homeopathy would make cuts on something that's clinically proven confused
yikes

Utter insanity. Had no idea they funded this hippy nonsense!?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/998223...

"The British Homoeopathic Association says £4 million of public money is spent each year, although it has been claimed that the figure could be as much as £12 million a year."

Sady true, yes. There's zero science behind homeopathy and zero proof it works. It doesn't stop with homeopathy either - there's all sorts of crazy stuff funded by the NHS that only exists to appease hypochondriac middle class hippies whilst genuinely ill people continue to suffer furious

Is hypnotherapy included?

Done mate, good luck.

Did something similar for my Mum a few years back, the Govt outfit jokingly called NICE were trying to stop her medical treatment for a form of leaukemia, the petition worked and she is still going strong at 83 years old, hope that this gives you some encouragement to battle the authorities.

Cliff that is really encouraging to hear! Regorafenib never even got NICE approval because the patient numbers are so few! A very flawed system!

Really overwhelmed by all your support! Echo that if you not receive an email it will have gone to your junk mail - the petition site also had "technical errors" last week. Conveniently it meant a lot of people who signed did not receive an email! It is supposed to have been fixed now..

I don't wish to diverge the thread from its original cause, but yes, hynotherapy is also available on the NHS, although it's not an open and shut case like homeothapy (which plainly does nothing), and studies do continue on it to this day. There's a decent summary of the evidence base for hynotherapy here as a starting point: http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/cance...

Someone very close to me had this form of cancer for about 15 years.

Consider it signed.
