I could imagine a Tesla P100D with Ludicrous mode would manage it well too.
That and a bit more, it has the same acceleration as Rita Queen of Speed (linear motor launch coaster) I know a few people have reported vision problems during Ludicrous Mode acceleration!
You can see why people report blurred or tunnel vision doing a standing start in a Tesla. This is an older slower model, but the reactions give you an idea...

The latest version is much faster.

Is Julian Assange dead?
That's the price of truth...! (I don't think he's dead, yet) But his life was over immediately. https://youtu.be/rDyGzkJBN6I

Why do singers / band members usually try to look mean and moody when they pose for photographs?
Why not a big smile and a thumbs up?
Mean and moody is less cheesy? Who knows. The guy who did Blondie's 'Parallel Lines' cover doesn't like it because the guys are too cheery (and their shoes are crap). Why not a big smile and a thumbs up?
EMI had a fit of the vapours when they saw the sleeve for 'With The Beatles'. 'Why aren't they smiling?', they wailed.

No, the amount of torque the Audi manages to put to the road reduces every time you change up a gear. Whereas the 747 just keeps going irrespective.
I'm talking about the way it FEELS, remember? And it feels very similar to a large aircraft.SpeckledJim said:
I expect the 747 will completely demolish the Audi once drag is a factor - because one 747 is an awful lot more aerodynamic and has a lot less rolling resistance than the equivalently powerful 200 Audis.
You better hitch a ride in a tuned RS6, I think you'll be in for a shock. It may be shaped like a brick but with 7-800 bhp and 900 lbft they shift. Do you know what the bhp or the lbft/ton of a 747 is?ambuletz said:
Is there any actual reason why some curry houses/restaurants choose to call some currys 'meat' curry instead of mutton? seems like a strange thing to do really. makes you think like they'll throw in any sort of meat they can grab.
well, now you mention it....http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2370843/Th...

Now everything is digital, if someone wants to put a picture in what ever form of print media, I assume they just click on the image in paste it in. But prior to everything being digital, how did pictures find their way on to printed pages?
It's a big topic. This should get you started. Keep digging.talksthetorque said:

If one wanted to simulate the feeling of taking off from a runway in an large aeroplane in a family saloon, what sort of bhp/ton and lbft/ton would be required?
The taking off bit you say....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4x0Dz00csA

Didn't Black Stig drown in a,boating accident?
If driving a nitrous-boosted XJS V12 off an aircraft carrier can be described as a boating accident, then yes. That's the first time I've been nearly almost right since I got married 46 years ago.
