Does it fking matter?!

How come radiators don't fill from the top and empty at the bottom? If heat rises, wouldn't hot water going in at the top force more colder water out of the bottom?

Some do fill from the top - plenty of rads can be ordred as TBOE (top bottom opposite ends) - one pipe goes in the top, one comes out the bottom at the other end. But they are uglier, more expensive, and more of a hassle to plumb in than normal BOE (bottom opposite ends) rads are, hence you rarely see them.

Was going to say If I had 10,000 E to spend on a villa I'm pretty certain I'd avoid Ibeefa.
The club 18-30 pissed brits throwing up in the street bit is only a small part of the island, a big chunk of the rest of the island is a UNESCO world heritage site.
There's also the possibility (remote, I know) that he shared the cost with at least one other person, as being a villa it might have more than one bedroom, and be able to cope with more than one couple/family at a time.
Got a private beach, airport, town etc as well has it?
Buckingham Palace doesn't have that either.

Surely that could all be done internally though. Several radiators in my place are single entry with a microbore pipe inside going to the other end.

It is, on most normal rads - they have a rubber bung halfway along the lower "pipe" to force the water up and over through the corrugations. It's just handier for some situations (WC access to the TRV, etc.), and was a lot more common on old single pipe systems (where all the pipework would be iron, so less prone to damage).
It's a tiny bit more efficient these days, but that's pretty much negated by the use of twin pipe systems, and pumped systems rather than gravity fed.

When most of the world uses the decimal system, why are aircraft flying altitudes expressed in feet?

And what is with the 'flight level nn' business? Why not say 'nn feet'?

FL10 is 10,000ft, again I don't know for certain but I assume it's easier to hear"Flight Level One Zero" over a radio than "Flight Level Ten thousand"

As for why we use feet, not too sure. Could be something to do with 1,000ft of seperation rule for pilots being easier to express and remember than 330m ish

The hottest coolant in your car is at the top as well, up at the cylinder head - makes sense to put it in the top of the rad rather than have a big long hose going to the bottom!

It's nowt to do with hose length, the inlet/outlet on block and head aren't so far away from one another in height, but at different ends of the engine too.

Oil coolers and water coolers always flow that way, can't remember why right now though!

So you wouldn't be returning the serve then. Make your mind up!

Why does walking around objects such as lakes in a clockwise direction feel 'wrong', yet walking around in an anticlockwise direction feels better.
