Wow, some of the asnwers!

Daily, sometimes twice a day if I've been working on the car/got sweaty/sports/going out that night etc.

The only time I rewear the next day is after a night out if I've not gone home. They're only worn until I get home and can get a shower. The length of that tiem can vary laugh

A new, clean, pair of socks is one of life's minor pleasures. If I had enough money, I'd have a huge supply of socks and would throw them away after 1 wear.

2 days out of a pair is rank.

I have never worn pants or socks more than one day, even when camping, in-1C. I didn't change my outer clothes for the three days I was camping, but made sure I had new pants and socks everyday.

Some dirty buggers around here!

It's at least once a day for me. Getting the old socks and pants off after a long haul flight and having a shower is one of the best things.

Every fifth day, same as everyone else.

On.
Rotated.
Inside-out.
Inside-out rotated.
Next!
Some skanky lasses make their g-strings last 6 days using this technique. 3 x rotations and inside out, provides a fresh bit every day!

Used to work with a guy who always looked well presented, wore decent clothes, loads of aftershave but usually had an unmistakeable waft of BO around him. Poor bugger never did realise even though many, many hints were given.

I suspect the poster who wears undies/socks/shirt two days in a row to the office is also living in blissful ignorance as above.

Too much soap has made you angry! wink

Seriously, go anywhere that's not in the first world and people barely wash at all and they certainly don't use deodorant. You soon get used go it.

Just because it is possible to get used to it, doesn't mean you should have to get used to it.

Daily. Although I sleep in the pants I've worn all day, shock horror!

Some Sundays, if I'm hangover and have no plans to leave the house, I reuse pants and socks (or don't take them off rather) until I need to shower and go out somewhere.
Which means that after proper sessions I may spend 48h+ in the same undies...

Westerners generally stink if they don't wash due to their unhealthy lifestyles. Too much meat, alcohol and rich food will ooze through your pores and make you pong.

Third worlders usually smell sweeter. smile

Not in my experience. Perhaps it's subjective.

I'm not sure about that - I've met some really smelly people from the first and third world.

I spent some time in Rabaul New Guinea, only 600 miles from the equator. A car parked in the sun for even a few minutes would get so hot that the air conditioning could not cool them quickly, & you would be a lather of sweet in a couple of hundred yards.

I would often be at the airport & the wharfs a couple of times a day, working with customs, who regularly stuffed things up totally.

When I got into the car I would drive straight home, leave the car & air con running in the carport, & have a shower. My house boy would have laid out a clean dry set of shirt shorts underwear & socks. He would lay out another set as soon as I left.

Busy days were a 4 change day.
