Joking aside I rarely bother wearing underwear, downside is that I have to wash my jeans more often because I forget to shake enough.

Every odd day, I shower every odd day too.

Don't see the problem, I even wear the same shirt to the office two days in a row.

People don't notice because all my shirts are the sames...
People don't notice, or people assume you never change them... hehe

Is that just so it's one less item to take off when you've got someone home?

For me it's every day. More if I've had another shower.

Both on a daily basis but I will wear socks twice, especially if just doing garden or car stuff, my feet just don't smell, ever, my socks just smell of shoe, not rampant cheese bacteria.

Am working from home today, so am commando, not had a shower yet, I think it is time for one biggrin

It gets worse as you get older ,you think you've finished the shaking ,pop it back in then hey presto another leak.

Every day. Socks and boxers. I've done getting up at a mates and having to put the same pair on after a shower and hate it.
Tshirts shirts once a day too.
But jeans once every couple of months!

I have to strip search people at work and some of these people don't change their socks or pants ever!!
The smell release from removing said socks can be quite eye watering and gag inducing. I hate it unless I'm with someone new who has never smelt it before then it's hilarious!

Can be twice a day for both. I work shifts in a steelworks so need to shower and change as soon as I get in sometimes. Also wear thick socks for boots but wear thin at other times.

Some people keep thick socks in their locker to wear on shift. I asked one and he said he changes them once a week and I doubted that. hurl

Twice a day, a fresh pair in the morning and once when I've got out of the shower in the evening.

My other half used to work in a local hospital and one day a well known local homeless guy was brought in suffering some illness. They had to undress him and he hadn't washed and had worn the same clothes for so long his socks were imbedded in his toenails and literally had become part of his feet. It took several hours to disentangle them and soak them off with the help of scissors, gloves and face masks hurl

When they took his trousers off............................

Oh the stench of ammonia.

True story.

Good grief, some of the answers. You know that feeling you get when you start to realise that 50% of the people who post on here are from another time and place? well this is one of those times.

People are proud of showering only once a day? do they not have a life? do they not go to work?, do they not work out? do they not sweat when they workout? do they not have wives, girlfriends, partners? People who live full lives need to shower more than once a day surely? come on, help me out here I am genuinely baffled.

If you think once a day is bad, don't read this thread : http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

When I was a trainee, there was a partner who was a bit odd, very clever, but odd, foul-mouthed and a little smelly. He seemed to wear identical shirts every day. One Monday morning, he spilt a drop of coffee on up his cuff. It was still there the next day and through to Friday.

He went on holiday a few weeks later. Our PA found his filing cabinet was stuffed with iffy shirts, pants and socks. It seemed he bought a new set once a week and stuffed them in the drawer. He lived alone, in a council flat, he'd bought through a friend who had the right, despite earning, I'd estimate, £200k in 1991.

You know some people don't sweat very much right? I don't feel the need to shower any more than once a day in the morning and providing I don't smell at any point of the day why should I do any more than that? Hell, I don't care if someone around me washes once a week as long as I can't smell them.

And I doubt anyone is proud of showering 'only' once a day same as I doubt anyone is ashamed of it. It's jut a fact.

Every time I read one of these treads it makes me retch. I used to be a member of a gym round the corner and the changing rooms always stank to high heaven. I could never understand how other people could stink so much. Now I know.

FFS.......
