It's neither. It's light blue and gold.
I'm with the muppet, definitely light blue and gold.

Someone is trying to tell me that it's to do with trauma and stress - you'll see blue and black if you're suffering a trauma and/or stress, but the dress is actually gold and white.

???

I see blue and brown. My puppy has not been run over and I'm fairly chilled.

It is blue and black, Adobe say it's blue and black, the people who made the dress say it is blue and black, Wired say it is blue and black and the person who wore the dress says it is blue and black. You see white and gold? Get your eyes checked you weirdos!
I'm with you on this.

The worrying thing is that all these people seeing white and gold are on Pistonheads, which means they are probably powerfully built Porsche owners...
If they can't tell the colour of a dress in a still photograph, what chance have they got spotting red traffic lights????? smile

Some people need to learn the difference between pigment and colour.

Ok, this has confused the hell out of me!! Al I could see was White and Gold, then someone sent me the below slightly edited version, now I look back at the original in this post and it's changed to undeniably Blue & Black! I can't even believe I saw White & Gold before!

Have a look and let me know if anyone else gets the same. (Look at the below, then look back at the original picture on page 1).

This is obviously some kind of mass joke - it's clearly black & blue in any picture but somehow 75% seem to think it's got white in it. We're being had

I did look at that, badly under exposed, poorly lit photo, which *could* be seen to be black and blue, then went back and looked at page 1.

Nope, it's still white and gold.

I'm with you, except I'd say blue and brown. There's a white background and the dress is very clearly not white.

It's obviously blue and black. I feel as if those saying it's white and gold are somehow in on a joke I don't know about.

I suspect a lot of this is down to the inability of digital cameras to accurately reflect colours.

This plant pot is - I swear - purple:

Every attempt, with several cameras, has it looking blue.

The real colour is like this:

Nope. That's what I see too.

However, I accept that it's a crap pic, with poor lighting and poor white balance, and that it could be just about anything really. smile

This, 100% this. My missus is convinced it is white and gold, however!

Regardless of what colour the actual dress is - the picture in the OP is demonstrably neither black/blue or gold/white.

Just checked the image on my iPhone and on it's screen the dress looks dark grey/blue.

The company who makes the dress has confirmed it's blue and black.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/weird-news/what-...

What annoys me is that people still seem to believe it's white and gold even though it has been proven it is in fact blue and black.
