So it's sharpen the mower blades, get out the garden furniture, fire up the grill ready for some alfresco dining.

So why the XXXX does it look like this outside?

It has been snowing all frigging day, can't even get out to clear it.
About 7 to 8" so far, not a big deal for New Jersey re the volume, but the timing is bad.
My daffodils are going to need psychiatric counseling.

Grim is only polite way I can describe it.

I think snow should be tax deductiblesmile

Because you live in the grim north !

I have some colleagues in the USA, one originates from Michigan. A few weeks ago he was winding up his buddies at home, as he had temperatures in the 70s and Michigan was somewhat colder..

Last weekend one of the other guys helped his kids build a snowman on their driveway !

Quite random, did I mention they are in Dallas, TX ?!

USA is certainly getting whacked this winter.

The North is not grim. It frees the mind. Your ass may or may not follow.

North Carolina here.. snow from last 2 weeks has now gone..
Sitting on the deck last night with a beer in hand 75 degF. - tonight back to 34degF

We have missed the big snow of the northern states, luckily. NC is more like Hampshire and the southern counties, when snow falls past 2 inches the whole world stops. We are expecting 25F tonight expecting ice tomorrow following today's rain.

This Global warming has to stop...! summertime next week my Ar$e.

Remember Al Gore telling us that by 2015 there would be no snow, melted ice caps and polar bears with nowhere to live.

I hope the clown's balls are freezing off, but I expect he's heating his house by burning some of those millions of sacks of $100 notes he's made from this scam.

In USA, the clocks go forward/backward at different times to us here in the UK...

I thought that the clocks going forward signified the start of spring, not summer?

Whereas we'd normally still have some snow lurking around now, it's forecast sunny and 14C this weekend. GTFI!
