Peter Graves in Sloane Square. He could see me trying to place him as I walked by him and he gave this huge grin and said "Mission Impossible" -Top Man.

David Carradine at a very small birthday party in Florida. His wife was related to the guy whose birthday it was. Impressive talker, not very warm, but very polite.

Mark Webber - used to see him occasionally in the changing rooms at Champneys. Never really got beyond a smile and nod of recognition - comes across as a lovely fella.

Michael Hesseltine - he was Hon Pres of an organisation I belonged too. Great Racontuer and very approachable.

The DJ?
Naah, Eastenders guy
No, sorry, not the Mike me and mine met.

We were just outside Estapona in a place called the Rib Shack and Mike and his wife came in. Lots of people bothered him but we didn't although he did notice that the mil had clocked who he was. They went for dinner and so did we and when we were finished we were sat at the bar when Mike and his wife walked by. he looked at the mil and said "Enjoy your meal darlin'" in that Frank Butcher voice. I think he appreciated the fact we didn't bother him at the start of the evening.
Well guess just goes to show 2 sides to all of us!

Dr Karl Kennedy from neighbours aka Alan Fletcher

Met him in a bar in Melbourne last year when me and some mates were off to a gig. He was on his own heading to watch the band too, so sat with us after a mate said hello to him. He's a good guy, really friendly. we ended up getting on the shots at the gig and he stayed out with us.

Since then, he's actually stayed friends with the group and often comes out drinking with us.

It'd have been a damn sight funnier if he'd said "...have you ever seen a grown man naked..." <grin>

Were you in Romsey? He shops in Waitrose.

I was talking to a colleague about Cleo Rocos at lunchtime.
I can't even recall why! laugh Anyway, I met her by chance in Canary Wharf a couple of years ago. She was as stunning as I recalled from my teens, and very friendly.

Robert Plant, in an ice cream parlour of a cinema 8n Dudley in the late 80s.

Asked for his autograph (since lost) on my cinema ticket, really friendly, chatted very openly.
Only spoilt by my hero worship meaning I lost the ability to think it answer his questions.

Early 2000s saw Tony Hadley in Covent Garden walking down the street. Not one of my hero's but is of my wife who coolly and calmly saw him then shrieked Oh God it's Tony Hadley.
She then had to walk towards him for the next 50 yards or so as he pissed himself laughing.

I met the famous ‘cars leaving car meets’ YouTuber, AdamC at Goodwood FOS this year.

Pleasant guy but not as engaging as he comes across in his videos. I said hello, told him I enjoy watching his videos and that I’m looking forward to his content from the FOS., he awkwardly smiled and said thanks and that was about it.

I then spent the next couple of hours getting abuse from my mates for fanboy-ing a YouTuber.

I know the Young’s brothers from school and bump into them every now and then. As there parents live just up the road and Toms wife family are my parents neighbours. At school Ben was an arrogant knob but then i was tt at 16 add professional rugby contract and England caps you can see why.

Both are really nice blokes these days though.

Rowan Atkinson short conversation in Geneva airport years ago. Asked about his cars which seemed to engage him. He enquires why I was alone (was 16) I confessed had been suspended and was being sent home to my parents. He thought that was quite funny.

Not met properly but a friend works security for the Royal Family. Obviously doesn’t share much, but simply will not have a bad word said about any member of the Royal Family. Which i think says quite a lot as he spends so much time with them. He is particularly fond of William, Kate and the kids.

Although when I say any member, there is one who he really doesn’t like and isn’t popular with any of the staff. Don’t think it’s hard to guess who.

I always thought he was a 16 year old school kid until I saw him rocking up to meets in an AC Cobra replica or 350Z.

Julie Walters - Spent two days looking after her when she was filming for a tv series here at work. She was utterly brilliant. Always smiling, and fantastic with the public as they milled around here. People would obviously recognise her and mention certain parts she'd played - she'd then go straight into character and have everyone in stitches. We had the full Mrs.Overall / Mrs. Weasley thing, plus of course 'two soups' in the cafe.

A fantastic lady.

Never met anyone famous, even if I did, I would be uninterested in engaging them in conversation [ as they would me ].

They are just human, they sh it, pis s and far t like the rest of us.
