If you could change one thing about your partner?
Discussion
Her past - She had a terrible few years before I met her and it still haunts her now. A couple of times I've woken up to her panting, sweating and almost crying and I wish I could take that pain away, but I can't and it's worrying seeing her so upset. This also leads onto point 2..
Which is..
Her self confidence; or lack of. She's very self concious about herself and her body, she's got an absolutely gorgeous figure and has proper curves, but always gets depressed when she needs to get a size larger in certain shops and it makes her feel big, when she's not.
Other than that, It's her lack of car enthusiasm, but she loves bikes, and my passion is rubbing off on her, and visa versa on me.
She also doesn't mind me spending money on my car

I'd like her to be more healthy. Like not have ME(chronic fatigue), which has the side effect of making her question things that don't need to be questioned, and to not understand logic because most of the time it's like I'm married to someone who is running on auto pilot due to the extreme tiredness.
I'd like her to be able to work even part time, and feel like she was doing something useful in society.
If I can't have that, I'd like her to stop referring to our money as my money. as in "I had to spend some of your money today" - really I thought we were a partnership and had a joint account and it was our money.

I'd like her to be able to cook.
I'd like her to be able to clean.
I'd like her to not have major sulks, I currently have picture but no sound following an argument on TUESDAY.
I'd like her to have cleaned the car I bought her at least once in the two years she has had it.
I'd like her not to have taken chunks out of two of the split rims on the car I bought her and then didn't tell me about because I would get grumpy.
I'd like her to be able to iron.
Hmmmmm

She's pretending not to be able to cook. Anyone can follow a recipe book line by line if THEY want to.I'd like her to be able to clean.

She doesn't clean because she has a dog that barks.
She sulks because she is a woman.
Women DO NOT clean cars. they leave st in your car and then ask later why it's so stty.
Chunks out of wheels ? Organise the repair and make her go and pay for the repair ? Don't EVER get grumpy as it's only an object.
Ah the ironing thing. I have to say that having been married 3 weeks I critised the ironing of my shirts, and 25 years later she won't EVER iron a thing for me, but is amazed that I can watch telly and iron perfectly at double quick time, without a problem.

She can't cook. Two months ago she blew up the microwave trying to make cheese on toast in it. I don't know how she did it,but she did. Once I was presented with spaghetti Bolognese in a bowl. No dramas with that one except for the fact that the spaghetti was underwater in the bowl and the Bolognese was sat proudly atop it (like a reverse atoll) and disintegrating sodden garlic bread was drifting around the outside. She doesn't clean because she has a dog that barks.

She can't clean, she cleans round things and then the house looks lime CSI when you move things.
She sulks, because woman
I didn't mean clean the outside of the car, I do that. I meant clean the mountain of hair bobbles, hair and general st that has been deposited in it by her.
Getting grumpy about the chunks out of the wheels of the car. I wouldn't if it hadn't been a) hidden and not mentioned until I noticed and b) been explained by means of a mythical small Asian child who apparently ran out in front of her and by doing so caused her to reverse slowly along a kerb stone grinding chunks off as she went.
Ironing: safer to do it myself

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. She holds my beer for me, helps me work on my car, goes everywhere with me, she never judges me, never argues with me, she's never not in the mood, she's only ever an arms length away, a great cook and it's always a gang bang with her 5 sisters.
Yes, it's my hand...
You have 6 hands? Lucky bd. Yes, it's my hand...

Her IRQ settings. If I ask her a questions I generally have to wait until she's finished whatever she's thinking about before she replies, by which time I've often given up waiting and wandered off. This occasionally causes upset such as when I ask if she wants a cuppa and by the time she answers I'm already in the kitchen putting the kettle on and don't hear her reply
I actually lol'd at 'IRQ settings'Monkeylegend said:

I'd like her to have a breast reduction operation.
They're so large I actually feel intimidated sometimes.

my gf is really good, mostly
however she gets a proper grump if you try to tell her she is breaking something (lack of mechanical sympathy)
She was hoovering with the attachment wand thing in the bathroom and had parked the upright hoover on the bathmat, of course the carpet beating thing was spinning round tearing up the bathmat, i could hear the motor suffering, so pop upstairs to point this out. Halfway up the stairs i could smell the motor burning out. The look i got for pointing this out. I think she wants a new hoover
I think i have it lucky really

At the moment she's fallen out with me because she has to have her bras specially made and I won't drive her up to Yorkshire to pick them up. She keeps breaking them.

Sorry but I can't help laughing at what is clearly an issue for you. Can't you get them delivered by courier, a sprinter should be big enough and fast enough.

They're so large I actually feel intimidated sometimes. When I told her this once she laughed at me and said I was insecure because I fancied my mother when I was a child.
Nightmare.
How big are they? Have I wondered onto an alternative Pistonheads? Why the hell has nobody asked for photographic evidence with obligatory custard? They're so large I actually feel intimidated sometimes. Temper, especially during her bad week, 2 blazing rows so far, she seems to shrug them off as "normal" while I run around tearing my hair out and wondering what I signed up for, then it's all back to normal for 3-4 weeks. Mental nobody else can make me go from calm and relaxed to feeling my neck throbbing in about 3 seconds flat!

I'm 20, She's 17. We work in the same office, albeit for different departments.
I'd change her place of employment. Part of me knew what I was getting into by dating someone at work, but fk me I can't get away. I'm a believer of "Work is work and home is home". Her.. not so much.
Also her friends are a bunch of tts, so I'd change what she classes as 'good friends'..
