Relative dying. Visit or not? Guilt.

My nan had a stroke, I went to see her in the hospital, I spent 30 seconds with her as I could not bear to see her hooked up to the machines and the way she looked.
She died 2 days later.
I was glad I went though, just so she knew I had been there.
