Having tried one I'd quite like to try the other before I make a decision.

Choose life.
Choose a job.
Choose a career.
Choose a family,
Choose a f**king big television
Choose washing machines, cars,
compact disc players, and electrical tin openers.
Choose good health, low cholesterol
and dental insurance.
Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments.
Choose a starter home.
Choose your friends.
Choose leisure wear and matching luggage.
Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase
in a range of f**king fabrics.
Choose DIY and wondering who you
are on a Sunday morning.
Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing
sprit-crushing ga me shows
Stuffing f**king junk food into your mouth.
Choose rotting away at the end of it all,
pishing you last in a miserable home
Nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish,
f**ked-up brats
You have spawned to replace yourself.
Choose your future. Choose life.

No but seriously, I choose here and now. fk knows when I'll be dead, so I'd rather have fun when I can than be a really rich dead person.

I'd never want to be seriously skint, ergo B.

Easy choice for me 30.

a) Money isn't everything, I value time more than money - you haven't given figures - but I wouldn't give up 30 years of my life for a billion pounds.

I'm as the Americans say "in a good place right now" in my mid 30's - the idea of giving up the next 25 years for the sake of mere money, nope.

b) A skint 30 year old can become a loaded 60 year-end, but the opposite isn't true.

yes If there's one thing that we humans seem to fail miserably at, and which dogs excel, it's living in the moment.

I've been 30 and skint.

Now I'm 61 and comfortably off..

I prefer now.....

30, but knowing what I now know. I would go on a massive lady knobbing spree.

(Edited for clarification, by massive I mean massive amounts of knobbing, not knobbing massive ladies)

At 30 you should be able to be well off and having a good time in life - they two are not mutually exclusive.

Work hard, play hard, plan well.

+1. As long you have an experience & career by 30, you can start making the right decisions to get your finances sorted. Also the ability to nail pussy.

Take me back 8 years and make me seriously skint then.

Do that and I'm fairly certain that by 38 I'd be seriously loaded, let alone 60.

IIRC on the day before the first test of 2009 Buttons was 350/1 for the WDC...
