Cars you could actually see out of and fix yourself

Video games where the entire thing came on one disc or cartridge, not full of DLC

Films that aren't made in 3D for no apparent reason

Roads that weren't full of speed bumps, bus lanes, cameras and potholes

Getting 6 weeks holiday in the summer

Being excited about birthdays and Christmas

My Mum's cooking (except when it was veggie burger night)

My car - it's currently sorn'd and sitting on axle stands on my parents driveway whilst I do my degree. It's been nearly two years but I'm almost finished. All going well, I'll be able to drive a car again for the first time in nearly two years! Going to go a massive celebratory 'hoon' with my mates when I get it roadworthy again smile.

Moto GP [2 and 3] on BBC red button service and then GP on BBC.

Last year ITV4 showed the GP class with appalling commentators.

Nick Harris and Gavin Emmett were great together and Harris has been around since Sheene and knows everything.

I really miss the old Pistonheads where:-
There were no internet warriors and drama queens waiting to pounce on every thread and turn it into a row!
You could call a spade a spade without offending someone!
There were those who asked questions and those who could answer them with authority (and very few 'fake' experts)!
We weren't bombarded with ads!
The moderators were allowed to think for themselves!
The Search engine worked.
People looked forward to BT&P

Prior to the St John's Centre it was on Briggate somewhere and I used to like visiting it there. Looking Back in seems they kept it moving once they vacated King Edward Street. Only went in once but it felt like a crowded "Crash!". It seems to have been on Lower Briggate for a while before it moved to where "Borders" took up residence after they moved on. The St John's one always felt too open. Much better downstairs where the old style racks were.

The days when video games had crappy graphics but sackfuls of playability that used to steal your time, Just another go and you lost 4 hrs of your life,
Now its fantastic graphics and sod all playability.
