Marlboro livery in Formula One (Ferrari).
The Camel Trophy.
Being younger.

The only thing you get to look forward to when you're older is having bills, working long hours at a st job, losing friends as everyone starts their own families, kids that hate you (not me - no pesky children, phew!), a deteriorating physique (and eyesight), developing a beer belly etc.

There's nothing good about growing up, and the problem is, if you decide to act not like a grown up adult - you get this: "God, act your age!". wink

My god, you can read minds. Those things are exactly the same as I was thinking today. Most my friends have families, horrible jobs and a joyless life.

Friday and Saturday nights on the lash with the lads, also waking up and the hangover not an issue, these days a few beers about kills me in the mornings.

That said would be nice to have a good night out with the lads once in a while.

One of the things I miss the most, almost every day in fact is the relationship I had with one of my closest friends. We both grew up into responsible adults with commitments and wives, him with children.

The youth I grew into adulthood with has changed almost beyond recognition, we used to be the life and soul of the party, life has changed us. I feel really saddened, I suppose you'd say I feel grief for the loss.

Having said all that depressing crap, I love my life now, I have more and possibly even better friends.

I know he posts but his contributions to the match.com thread were both frequent and funny. I miss them.

There's a Spud U Like in the horrendously busy food court in Westfields, Stratford, East London.

It's the only outlet without a queue and 4 staff with nothing to do biggrin
